Wellingborough Dog Welfare is a local charity located in Grendon, Northamptonshire dedicated to making life easier for strays and unwanted dogs locally from surrounding areas by finding them loving homes. What type of information is collected from you?

The personal information we collect might include your IP address, and information regarding what pages are accessed, and when.

If you make a donation via one of our third-party links i.e. PayPal or BT MyDonate; make online purchases via easyfundraising, or purchase items from our Amazon Wishlist  they may collect information about the pages you visit using your IP address.

The Dog Match Pre-Adoption Questionnaire collects information about you including your name, address, email address and phone number using Google Forms.  Please refer to the individual websites for more information on their Privacy Policies.

If you make a donation or make a purchase online on our behalf your card information is not saved by us. When you are using our secure online donation pages, your donation is processed by a third party payment processor, who specialises in the secure online capture and processing of credit/debit card transactions.

How is your information used?

We may use your information to contact you about suitable dogs that are looking for homes based on your answers to the Dog Match Pre-Adoption Questionnaire. If you no longer wish for us to contact you please email us at wellidog.org@gmail.com.

In the event that you decide to adopt a dog from us we will also use your information to arrange home checks and keep in touch following a successful adoption. By adopting a dog from us you are agreeing for us to use your information in this way. Please refer to your Adoption Agreement for more information.

We review our data retention periods for personal information on a regular basis. We are legally required to hold some types of information to fulfil our statutory obligations (for example the collection of Gift Aid). We will hold your personal information on our systems for as long as is necessary for the relevant activity, or as long as is set out in any relevant contract you hold with us.

You can request that we delete all of your information by emailing us at wellidog.org@gmail.com with the heading DELETE REQUEST.

Who has access to your information?

We will not share your information with third parties for marketing or any other purposes.

Use of ‘cookies’
